Newcomers
Welcome to the U.S. European Command's newcomers hub for incoming military and civilian personnel
Congratulations on your assignment to HQ, U.S. European Command. Please review the steps below to assist with your transition into the command and the USAG Stuttgart community. We look forward to your arrival.
Report to the USEUCOM Headquarters Commandant Joint Personnel Center (JPC), Patch Barracks, Building 2308, Room 138, during duty hours Monday through Friday (0900 -1130 & 1300 - 1530). You will receive a USEUCOM In-Processing packet containing everything you need to in-process the command. For assistance call DSN 324-412-0153.
HQ USEUCOM Newcomer’s Orientation Program (NOP). All newly-assigned personnel are required to complete the NOP within 45 days of arrival to USEUCOM. NOP classes are conducted in Building 2307, Rooms 317 and 301, Patch Barracks, Vaihingen, Germany. For assistance, please call DSN 314-430-8755/7047 or (commercial) 011-49-711-680-8755/7047.
Download and complete the JPAD Personnel Data Sheet. A completed form is required during your first day of in-processing the Joint Personnel Center.
U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) in-processing. The Garrison Central Processing Facility (CPF) team revised the entire in-processing program. A key feature of the new model has been the availability of multiple virtual platforms. This virtual setting allows incoming personnel more control over the pace of their individualized in-processing. Newcomers can begin the process even before arrival. The CPF is on Panzer Kaserne in Bldg 2913, First Floor, along with housing, transportation, driver licensing, and customs.
Unit-assigned sponsors can now direct incoming military and DA civilian personnel to contact the CPF before departure from their home station. Once the CPF receives their Newcomers Needs Assessment, in return, the customer will receive a checklist, personalized by category, which steers the customer to important information needed for their specific situation.
