As the Department of Defense has ramped up the fight against COVID-19 while continuing to execute its no-fail national missions, U.S. European Command’s cyber teams have worked tirelessly to ensure both the command’s infrastructure and its people are protected across all domains.
Every year, USEUCOM participates in Memorial Day ceremonies at all 21 U.S. military cemeteries in Europe with color guards, troop formations, chaplains, military bands, buglers, general officer/flag officer speakers, firing details and flyovers. EUCOM has carried this tradition since 1996. Due to COVID-19, all public ceremonies were cancelled this year. However, a global pandemic doesn’t lessen USEUCOM’s commitment to honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the Nation.
