US Soldiers delivering equipment for Saber Strike Exercise

Soldiers from the 1st Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade in Fort Riley, Kansas, 4th Infantry Division in Fort Carson, Colorado, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division from the Minnesota National Guard and Lithuanian Soldiers drive Heavy Equipment Transport Systems carrying M1 Abrams tanks from Klaipeda to Pabrade, Lithuania during the Reception, Staging and Onward Movement phase of Exercise Saber Strike. The Saber Strike Exercise program facilitates cooperation between the U.S., Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and other Allied and partner nations to improve joint operational capability in a variety of missions and prepare the participating nations and units for future operations while enhancing the NATO Alliance. This is just one in a number of exercises that demonstrate the U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO Allies and partners and our dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region.
