Seabees Lay the Foundation in Romania

Builder 3rd Class Alexis Franklin works with Corporals Giurca, Szabo, and Vagu from the Romanian 10th Engineer Brigade as they place concrete blocks for the wall of an Operations and Storage Building as a part of Resolute Castle 17 at Joint National Training Center, Cincu, Romania, while Builder 3rd Class Samantha Kylberg provides mortar. Resolute Castle 17 is an exercise strengthening the NATO alliance and enhancing its capacity for joint training and response to threats within the region.

Dynamic Employment of Forces to Europe for NATO Deterrence and Enhanced Readiness, DEFENDER 25, is a large-scale U.S. Army exercise that tests how quickly, and effectively American troops can deploy to Europe and defend the Eastern Flank with NATO Allies and partners.

Additional assets arrive in support of recovery efforts in Lithuania

In the last 24 hours, U.S. Army and Lithuanian authorities brought in additional assets to assist with the ongoing recovery efforts of four missing U.S. Army Soldiers and a M88 Hercules from the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division.
