Task Force Falcon Soldiers brief Apache capabilities during Operation Summer Shield

ADAZI, Latvia — A gathering of U.S. Army Soldiers, U.S. Airmen, and Latvian soldiers attend a briefing on the AH-64D Apache at the Parade Field on Adazi Military Base, Latvia, April 24, 2017. The brief consists of highlighting the capabilities of the Apache and its systems to the audience with a display for effect. The purpose is to better communicate how the aircraft is used, its functions, and how the Apache can be employed on the battlefield. Additional assets arrive in support of recovery efforts in Lithuania

In the last 24 hours, U.S. Army and Lithuanian authorities brought in additional assets to assist with the ongoing recovery efforts of four missing U.S. Army Soldiers and a M88 Hercules from the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division.
